“Young K Rapper” comes to Clear Lake, abducts young teen to South Dakota, commits rape

From Clear Lake Police:

On Sunday morning July 29th A Clear Lake Couple reported that their daughter as a runaway. They said that when they got up Sunday morning she was not in her room. The missing girl texted her parents several times over the course of the day Sunday to tell them she was all right. Eventually through texting the parents learned that their daughter was with a male nicknamed “Young K Rapper” and that they were in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Clear Lake Police officers were given access to the girl’s Facebook account where they found the girl had been communicating with the man identified as Young K Rapper.

Clear Lake officers contacted the Sioux Falls Police Department with the information they had about 9:30 p.m. Sunday night. The Sioux Falls Police Department Street Crimes Unit began to investigate the incident and around midnight they called back to the Clear Lake Police Department and told the Lake officers that they thought they had identified who Young K Rapper was and where he lived. At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Monday July 30th Clear Lake officers were notified that the Sioux Falls officers had located the 13 year old girl at an apartment with Young K Rapper who was identified as 21 year old Mensur A. Malik. Malik was arrested and has been charged with fourth-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The 13 year old female was initially placed in a juvenile detention center. Monday evening she was picked up by her parents and returned home.

I know the two men and I heard about the girl she said she was 19 to him and she said to pick her up to be honest this whole situation is messed up

what is sad is with today’s technology we can do just about anything BUT yet we cant use that same technology to protect the children of the world from people like this!!! how about revamping social media sites such as facebook, twitter, etc. to NOT ALLOW anyone to sign up for them using nicknames and alias… if they want to par take make them have to sign up under name printed on their social security card and enter said valid number… no valid #, no ACCOUNT-PERIOD!! on top of that suggestion, some how flag every sex offender who has a conviction and somehow cross reference their SS#’s to weed them out.. with the sophistication and the minute detailed qualities video games have, would it really be to hard to develop a computer program such as the one I’ve described? I don’t think so… but hey, what do I know…

The music industry & films glorify this type of behavior ! Any of you over 35 ever listen to the words in the young kids music today, especially that rap crap ? It’s about sex & drugs ! The parents probably participate in activities glorified by the (c)rap music industry & some of the disgusting crap that comes out of Hollywood.

Hollywood is to blame for most of the crime in this country as they glorify bad behavior, free- for-all-sex, no realization between right & wrong, and anything goes anymore. Just look at the tragic theater shootings in Colorado – straight out of a movie !

Sad to say but there are a lot of folks out there who should not have kids if they can not raise them and expect the TV, video games & computer to be their babysitter while the parent(s) are off doing whatever !

Parents give their kids way too much access to scum bags like the sexual predator “Young K”. He ought to be castrated and sent to prison over in Afghanistan !

He should have just had sex with her here, claimed to be a D-Boy and the local CA Office would recommend no charges.

No shit. If your comment had a like button I think you would set a new record for likes. You know what you are talking about, thats for sure.

Hard to say what the penality will be here. I dont think anything was done aginst anyones will!
She may has said she was 18. Who knows?

Nice excuse, Mike Peckham.

Ya, let’s put this on the 13 yr old girl as completely her fault. “Young K Rapper” is 8 years older at 21 yrs of age. He didn’t see any issue with taking a juvenile across state lines? What a joke.

Why fourth degree rape? Shouldnt it be much more serious than that? She’s 13.

So he didn’t abduct her, she ran away with him. When will parents actually parent their kids? I was 13 once & knew the difference between right & wrong too.

Doesn’t matter that she ran away, what matters is that a 21 year old man had several conversations with her on the internet and then drove here from South Dakota with the intent to take her back with him. He took a minor across state lines which makes this even worse ( that is a federal offence ) and then raped her, she is 13 and to young to consent in any state. He even refused to bring her back. So they must have a family issue maybe because she is 13 and didn’t get her way. That is no reason to blame the parents, lets blame the sick kidnapping baby rapper come on look at his screen name.

Maybe the parents should have paid closer attention to whom their 13 year old daughter was communicating with. It seems alot of parents (not necessarily these parents) allow video games, social network sites and tv to raise their children or use them as child care. How old is a person supposed to be to have a Facebook Page? I thought it was 16 but what do I know?????

Society has taken a turn for the worse. You can’t trust hardly anyone. This person is truly sick & needs psychiatric help. Parents do need to supervise their children more closely. They need to safeguard them from dangerous & mentally ill individuals like this. I have to agree with the first statement above. You don’t know who you can trust in this world. It’s sad, whether it’s in family or people you know you have to be very careful who your children are around. You also find out who your friends are as times they are changing sadly.

Psychiatric help?? How about a tight rope, a short drop and a quick stop?

This is awful, parents need to supervise their children more to make sure that creeps like this guy don’t abduct and swoon their daughters into thinking “they’re in love,” etc. Yuck!

What a horrible situation. Yet parents continue to give their kids unmonitored access to Facebook.
