Cyclones Back on ESPN’s Big Monday

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men’s basketball team’s national resurgence has increased its opportunities for more exposure. The Big 12 Conference announced its 2013 ESPN/Big Monday schedule today, and the Cyclones will appear on the league’s weekly national showcase game.

Iowa State will play host to Kansas on Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. CT.

The Cyclones haven’t appeared on ESPN’s Big Monday since Jan. 9, 2006, a 78-58 loss to No. 8 Texas in Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State’s last win on Big Monday was a 79-77 victory at No. 5 Kansas on Feb. 5, 2001.

Iowa State’s entire 2012-13 schedule will be announced at a later date.
