CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was injured in one vehicle accident Wednesday on the Avenue of the Saints.
Chris Templeton, 51, was southbound on I-35 at 11:05 PM Wednesday when his 1999 Chrysler 300 crossed the median and ran into a concrete bridge pilar, an Iowa State Patrol crash report said.
He was injured and taken to Mercy Medical Center North Iowa. The extent of his injuries was not known. The report says his life was saved by using a seat belt. Jaws of Life where used to help in the removal of Templeton from the vehicle.
