Registration for Summer and Fall Classes at NIACC

MASON CITY – The final session of summer school at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) begins July 16. Students are encouraged to call now to enroll.

NIACC is also taking registration for fall semester, which begins August 27. Anyone interested in enrolling in either summer or fall semester is encouraged to contact the NIACC Admissions office to register: 641-422-4245 or toll free at 1-888- GO NIACC, extension 4245.

Summer school is a great opportunity for many people. “Taking a summer class can help students lighten their course load for the fall. If they are home for the summer, but attend another college or university, we help them transfer those credits back to their school,” said NIACC Admissions Director Rachel McGuire.

For students who just graduated from high school, they can get a head start on college, whether they are attending NIACC or another school.

The Admissions office is also taking registration for fall semester, which begins Aug. 27.

“We are excited to offer some new programs at NIACC this fall, including two in technology and a new diesel technology program,” McGuire said. Details about all of those programs were announced earlier this month and can be found on the NIACC web site under News Headlines.

Anyone interested in enrolling in either summer or fall semester is encouraged to contact the NIACC Admissions office now to register: 641-422-4245 or toll free at 1-888- GO NIACC, extension 4245.
