MASON CITY – Friday morning, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the Mason City Fire Department answered a call to go to 428 4th Street SE for a vehicle fire.
What appeared to be a Ford Explorer had an engine fire. Fire fighters put out the fire and were investigating the cause.
Mason City Police Department were at the scene to assist.
